OUR REGION

We deliver underwater innovation to the world, from the banks of the River Tyne.

Overlooking the river; our offices and facilities are located in a key enterprise, investment and industrial zone – just 15 minutes from Newcastle city centre.

We’re well connected nationally and globally – with access to Newcastle International Airport, the A1 and A19. As well as the East Coast Mainline rail linking us with London in under 3 hours, as well as Yorkshire and Edinburgh in under two hours.
More locally, the regional light rail Metro system will take you from the office to award-winning beaches in 15 minutes, and connects to the Airport and wider region, as far south as Sunderland.

Our site also sits on the doorstep of tranquility and adventure; within the vast countryside, wild beaches, and ancient castles of Northumberland. The Cheviots, Pennines and Lake District are also all within a drive of an hour or two.

All of this helps our people enjoy a great quality of life, in a region known for its hospitality, relatively low cost of living, and thriving cultural and sporting communities.
