We recently celebrated Rob’s incredible 36-year career with us, and we thought it would be perfect to share Rob’s SMD story while highlighting our support for inspiring and encouraging young pupils from North East schools in STEM subjects at STEMFEST this week.
Rob initially joined SMD at the age of 19 through a placement program and later pursued mechanical engineering at Paisley University. At 22, after completing his degree, Rob officially joined our team, and the rest is history!
Over the years, Rob’s expertise and unwavering dedication have played a pivotal role in shaping our work, making him an invaluable member of our team.
