SMD offer a range of oil-filled submersible power packs suitable for hydraulic power generation or running a variety of water pumps. The units are designed for Work Class ROVs, Trenchers, Ploughs, Dredge systems and any other application which demands long term reliability and high performance.
Aluminium or stainless steel versions are available and customers can choose from a range of electrical connection types. All Curvetech power packs are dual-ended and can accept a range of industry standard pumps.

HYDRAULIC POWER UNITS (HPU)
Curvetech electro-hydraulic HPU’s are designed to produce continuous hydraulic power, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Various versions are available from 11SHP to 400SHP and all are offered with a 2 year guarantee as standard.
RELIABILITY
Every unit is fully tested and certified to run at full power for prolonged periods of time. This is achieved using a unique winding technique which ensures cooler operation. Built-in temperature sensors monitor actual winding temperature as opposed to oil temperature and all motors incorporate “oversize” bearings for smooth concentric running.
